Summary: Pros: The condo was well equipped and clean. The host provided all the beach necessities (cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas) as well as everything needed for cooking and cleaning. The view was SPECTACULAR and there was never more than 10 people on the whole beach at one time. Snorkeling was adequate. The elevator was in excellent working condition and garbage drop off was conveniently located just down the hall.Mary is amazing! She responded to my messages promptly and provided clear instructions for both checking in and out. Cons: The property is located next door to a homeless camp. One morning, we woke up to find someone sleeping in a tent on the beach. One evening, while walking around the point, we were barked at by a man who was sleeping behind a rock. There is on site security though, so access to the unit would be nearly impossible without a key fob. We were rarely out past dark due to the rough neighborhood. Traffic between 3:30pm - 6:30pm is a nightmare. The bed isn’t very comfortable but the host did say the foam topper could be removed to adjust the comfort level. We didn’t remove it so that is our own fault. I had a difficult time keeping the unit below 77, even with the AC set to 68 and the curtains closed. I suggest opening the balcony door and the entrance door to let the breeze flow through. Would we stay here again? Yes. But maybe only during whale watching season so we wouldn’t have to leave the grounds!
